As a bicycle mechanic, you will be called upon to stand out through your professionalism and attention to detail by actively participating in the success of a Montreal business. Since Cycling Avenue's inventory is updated daily, it is essential to ensure efficient and flawless management of the bikes entering and leaving the warehouse. We are therefore looking for a bicycle mechanic who will be able to maximize the condition of the bikes in order to allow us to offer the best possible experience to all of our customers.


Here is a brief overview of your responsibilities:

• Ensure a complete check of the condition of the bicycles exchanged;
• Repair used and new bicycles as needed;
• Maintain inspection and mechanical verification sheets;
• Buy the necessary parts from suppliers;
• Take part in team meetings;
• Continuously improve processes and working methods;
• Assist with photo taking and packaging when required;
• Contribute, with team members, to the regular maintenance of work areas;
• Any other task related to the proper coordination of the workshop and the warehouse.


Who are you?

• Very good knowledge of bicycle mechanics (road, mountain, electric);
• 4-5 years of experience as a mechanic in a workshop;
• Suspension mechanics training and general mechanical training recognized an asset (Shimano, TechnoCycle, SRAM, others). Please provide the certificates with your CV;
• Flexibility in working hours (mainly during the week);
• Intermediate computer knowledge (spreadsheets, documents, web browser, emails, etc.);
• Ability to learn and quickly implement new processes;
• Ability to lift 23 kg with ease on a regular basis;
• Ability to stand for long periods of time (more than 4 hours);
• Excellent knowledge of the spoken and written French language, good knowledge of the spoken and written English language.
