2009 Tapered 1 1/8" Specialized Brain 110-70mm *CARBON

Carbon steerer tube, and I think the crown is carbon too. SUPER LIGHT, only 1506g. Super travel adjustment! Goes from 110mm all the way down to around 70mm, perfect for extreme hill climbing. Butter smooth suspension, no mechanical issues. Stanchions are great no scratches, bushings are tight. Comes with an adapter to work with normal 1.5" tapered headset.
There is some glue on the adapter and steerer tube, I would cut/sand that off, and maybe reglue it. Some cosmetic scratching on lowers. Rebound works decent, but has lost some gripping force, around 60% of new, travel adjustment works good. If you pull up on the bars fast and hard you can extend the fork, but it will go back to the drop height as soon as you lean on it. This is a bit different than a talas, or 2 step where the negative air will hold it down firmly. Oil seals are a bit weather cracked on the top, but not leaking oil/possibly sweating a super tiny amount.. 20.5cm steerer tube.
