Price Reduced!! I will also throw in a Brooks B68 or B72. I'll follow up with pictures of the saddles soon. If you've been eyeing this, make an offer!

This bike is a mechanic’s culmination of 15 years of weird parts hoarding compiled into one hell of a bike. It weighs less than 30lbs despite a really heavy handlebar and seatpost. It rides nice thanks to that signature Schwinn flex. The chain is evenly tensioned all around, no tight or loose spots. The brakes have more power and modulation that you expect, I promise. It’s a rad bike to bounce around the neighborhood on. It holds a mini u-lock! As you can see in the photos, the paint is pretty chipped up (stupid u-lock). Ideal size for riders ~5’6”-5’10”. Sold as pictured. See full specs below.

Frame: Custom Chicago Schwinn cruiser with canti posts added
Fork: 1” threaded mountain unicrown
Hubs: Corsa Concept Track, sealed cartridge bearings, fixed/free 28h
Rims: Ritchey Rock 440, 28h
Spokes: DT Swiss 15g, 28h, 3x w/ brass nipples
Tires: Comp III Duro remake from Porkchop BMX, 26 x 2.125” w/ purple ano valve caps
Cranks: Shimano 6206 (XT before there was XT), 110bcd
Chainring: Sram 38t
Bottom Bracket: Shimano UN-72 w/ American to English adapter
Pedals: Xpedo Spry mag pedals
Chain: ACS Crossfire 3/32” single speed chain
Freewheel: Excess 17t
Brake levers: Dia-Comp 290 “Batwing”
Brake arms: Shimano MC70 wide stance cantilever w/ original pads (they work and don’t squeal!) with 3D Violet Avid Tri-Dangle cable hangers
Handlebar: Biltwell Moto Handlebar ⅞” Chrome
Grips: Cult Vans flange grips
Stem: Air Line split clamp stem
Seatpost: Schwinn Exercise bike post, it’s Schwinn and will (probably) hold your weight!
Seatpost Clamp: Dia-Comp hinged collar (recent Porkchop remake)
Seat: WTB SST, the good one from back in the day, not the shitty Surly one

I have no idea who brazed on the rear brake posts, but they’re a little high. You can see in the pics I had to really open up the brake and push the pads inward to work a low enough angle. They have a good feel and come on plenty strong, but they are very dependent on that brake and that rim width. I tried a lot of combos before settling on this one. I worked it out so you don't have to.

This bike doesn't make any sense, but if you read this far it's because of an emotional response. Give in to it! This thing is rad!

The only trade or partial trade I will consider is a medium/18” 2015-2016 Kona Humuhumu in any color with original fork (frameset preferred, complete considered). I’m in Portland, OR and would prefer a Portland area cash sale. I am willing to ship within the continental US. Message me for a quote. Reasonable offers considered. Lowball offers ignored. Thanks.
