2015 Specialized Stumpjumper Expert EVO Carbon

2015 Stumpjumper FSR Expert Carbon EVO that is heavily used with a repaired carbon frame. The frame was repaired during the previous ownership and has been ridden for over two years without any issues; it looks worse than it actually is. The crack was less than 2 cm and it wasn’t enough for specialized to even warranty the frame, hence why he did it himself “just in case” and for “a learning experience”. The location is the bottom of the inside of the downtube.

It’s definitely not professionally done, and it doesn’t look pretty, but the previous owner did put on way more carbon than he needed. He said he put more layers of carbon fiber than what a professional would use (unfortunately I can’t remember how many layers exactly he put on), but it’s a thicker repair than was necessary.

I would say the bike is in FAIR condition (lots of scratches/scrapes/dings), but the bike functions perfectly. The spec on this bike is very good, the components alone are probably worth close to the price. I used these components for a different build while I was in the process of buying new parts, I have since completed my other bike build so all the parts are included on this stumpjumper, but the finishing touches just need to be assembled. New tires are on the way and I will update pictures when I they arrive. It looks like the bike shop had resized the rear brake when the put them on my other bike, so the rear will need a longer brake line. Should be an easy job for a bike shop to do, or if you are mechanically inclined to do so.

The air spring has been upgraded with 160mm of travel, there’s a new shifter on it, and new tires … everything else is stock on the bike.

I’m just under 6ft tall and this fits me perfectly with the dropper post fully into the frame; my legs are on the shorter side so I would say anyone that’s 5’11” and above will most likely fit.
