2014 Fox 40 Factory Float 27.5

Originally these started out as a 2014 26 inch fork, but have been upgraded to 27.5 by changing out the lowers. Fox forks are usually quite generous with their sizing so I could have got away with using them as they were, but I wanted proper clearance as I prefer to use higher volume tyres - so these are officially 27.5 forks. The internals of these forks have remained largely the same up and till the introduction of the Grip 2 damper and the change to the design of the lowers on the new 2021 model, so although these are the best part of 7 years old, they still hold their own.

These are air forks (float) with 200mm of travel. Straight steerer has been cut to 155mm. The axle width is 20x110mm.

Have been used - but not for anything serious. Alas I haven’t used my DH bike as much as I’d have liked, so are in excellent condition as a result - the kashima stantions are mark free. A few tiny marks to the lowers but otherwise perfect.

Have had an interim service over 18 months ago, but as mentioned have been used very little since, so they’re good to go for quite some time yet.

The RC2 damper and rebound circuit are working faultlessly with the knobs and dials working as they should.

I’m now giving my DH bike some love so I’ve now upgraded to 2021 versions, hence the sale.
