For sale is a super rad 1992 Monster Fat Chance built up as a single speed town shredder. There were 3 sizes for the monster in '92, this is a medium.
Measures 17" CTC on the seat tube and 22.5" CTC on the top tube.
Takes 1" headset, 26.4 seatpost, 100/135 spacing, 68mm bb.
The color is Leslie's Purple with Green Splotches.
There are no dents or cracks. Overall the paint is in great shape with only minor scrapes and light chainrash.
We're using a Paul Melvin chain tensioner and some era Mavic Crossland wheels wrapped in 2.1 Richey Mobybite slicks.
The Rockshox Judy SL was recently serviced and works great and is fully functional. Raceface carbon cranks, Thomson stem, beefed up Torsion riser bars, a Chris King headset.... This pup is loaded and built for maximum fun.
The brakes are DX rear/XT front cantis and the brake levers are DX. Sakae TCO seatpost and Binteager RL saddle. Did I miss anything? Pm with questions. Will only consider trades for Rock Lobster bikes or other boutique fillet brazed frames/completes.
