2021 Santa Cruz Megatower CC XXL Frame + Shock

Selling my 2021 Santa Cruz Megatower CC, Storm Grey, XXL Frame with a Fox Factory DHX2 Shock.

This frame is in great condition. Used for the 2021 season up until the weekend of October 16th, when I part swapped onto a new frame that would better suit my needs on my local terrain. The Megatower is a great bike, it absolutely rips. For such a big bike, it is surprisingly nimble, poppy, and fun. It is definitely a big bike that likes to go downhill fast, but I would not call it cumbersome even on tight techy terrain that the bike was not optimized for. Again, my reason for selling is simply that I found another frame that suited my needs as a rider just ever so slightly better.

Lets talk nitty gritty! Here's a breakdown of specs:

The frame will come with;

Santa Cruz 180-200 rear post mount
The hangers and post mount adapter are for the long chain stay option. I would highly recommend this bike be run in the long cs variation, as it improves the front-rear balance for us tall riders. However, if you would like to run it in the short position, your local Santa Cruz retailer should have the parts you need!

*1.) I have a 600 lb spring included with the shock. For reference, I am 6'5", 185-190 lbs with kit, and the 600 lb spring gave me 28% sag. This gave the bike a very supple feel while keeping a firm and responsive pedaling platform, along with plenty of bottom out support.

*2.) I have put some custom decals over the stock decals, offset a bit to give a cool look. These are removable, so if you prefer the stock decals they can just be peeled right off!

You will notice from the pictures there is a little bit of cosmetic blemish on a couple of spots. I have labeled the photos to make it easy to reference;
Photo A: The headtube badge has a little bit of wear as shown. This can be worked around, via buying a new headtube badge, removing the rest of the black paint, or by filling in where the paint has worn off.
Photo B and C: This is the only wear that is not on the frame protection. These spots have wear through the paint, but not into the carbon. Photo B I suspect was from the chainring, as at one point my chainring bolts came loose and I suspect the extra flex allowed for some rubbing when the correct stress was applied. Only cosmetic, and covered up by the chainring once installed. Photo C shows a small patch of wear on the end of the chain stay, again only on the paint. I suspect this was from a loose rock being kicked up.
Photo D: This photo shows the non-drive chain stay, where there is some black marks from my shoe rubbing. This is also found a bit on the other side. These marks are only on the frame protection, so no actual wear has been done to the frame and the paint.

All other places of wear, whether it be small nicks or residue from shoes or pants, are on the installed frame protection. If you would like me to remove the frame protection to give the frame cleaner look, I can certainly do that, just let me know!
