I’m the original owner of this 2005 chromoly steel Allez and have the purchase receipt. Over time I changed out all original parts to the following:

Drivetrain: Shimano Dura-Ace FC 7803 10 speed crank, 52/39/30 w/ 177.5mm arms. Matching 7800 series Dura-Ace front and rear derailers, brake calipers, and bottom bracket, Ultegra 6603 10 speed shifters. And I just installed a brand new SRAM PG 1070 11-28 cassette and PC 1051 chain that work flawlessly with its Shimano counterparts. (Crank rings are in beautiful shape, little mileage.)

Other components: Origin 8 CRO-MO Lite II 700c chromoly steel forks w/ uncut 300mm steer tube. Matching Easton EC 70 zero offset carbon seat post (22.7mm) and 100mm, +/- 6 degree carbon bar stem. Easton EA 70 aluminum bars. Cane Creek S6 headset with stainless steel bearings. Chris King steer tube spacers. Brand new Shimano Ultegra brake pads. Salsa seat clamp. And I placed a used WTB mountain bike seat on it simply until the next owner picks a seat that’s right for them. (Headset bearings are in beautiful shape, but I have a second identical set to go with bike along with a set of black S6 bearing cups if you prefer having a black versus silver headset.)

Asking $825 and I have a couple tire options I can throw in, but new owner to get wheels that fit their budget and riding needs.

This bike has mostly been in storage, very little usage, and meticulously cared for. And it includes the original Specialized C3 carbon forks with a 235mm carbon steer tube. But the Origin 8 forks are an immense upgrade in my opinion.

For an additional $125 you can swap out the Easton carbon stem and seat post for a Specialized S Works +/- 6 degree carbon stem in either 100mm or 110mm length along with a matching Specialized FACT offset carbon seat post 360 mm length – both also in storage for years, not being used.

Other than picking out a set of wheels and an appropriate seat, the bike could use fresh bar tape and that’s pretty much it.

Lastly, I also have a brand new in box, identical Dura Ace 7803 crank w/ 175mm arms which can be discussed if of interest, and a second new PG 1070 11-28 cassette available as well.
