2017 Giant Trance Advanced 2 with new 2021 frame

2017 Giant Trance Advanced 2 build kit on a 2021 frame.

Frame was warrantied at the beginning of the year due to a small hairline crack in the top tube I was worried about, may have just been cosmetic but didn’t want to take chances.

The new frame came with brand new bearings all around so you don’t have to worry about possible bearing service for a good while. While new frame put together also cleaned and regreased the headset with a new bottom bearing put in. Bottom bracket was all replaced at this time with a thread in metal style bb. Cables and housing were also changed as well as a new air cartridge for the dropper post and a good clean and lube of the post. Brakes recently bled/new pads as well.

Suspension serviced two years ago with little riding since. However; it is about at the point where a service would be appreciated on the fork and shock to prolong there life with a brand new frame.

New frame may only have about 10 rides this season as I unfortunately didn’t have lots of time to ride :-(

Only reason for selling this now is the desire to try something new out!

The only parts swapped from the original 2017 build are:

-Rear wheel ( Original wheel had cracked and not covered under warranty, replaced with specialized roval wheel)

-Bottom bracket

-Stem (Raceface atlas 45)

-Air damper in the fork has been changed from the original 150mm of travel to 160mm giving a little more rigged out feeling and more cushion in the front, couple tokens in the fork and volume reducers in the shock I can swap out if needed :) * tiny little scratch in the fork stanchion as well that hasn’t created any problems so far

I’m about 5’4 and it fits me wonderfully but figure a shorter rider or a couple inches taller then me and you’d be great!
