Fox 36 Performance Elite Grip2 180mm 27.5.
Excellent condition set of 36s. The only difference between these and the factory forks is the black stantion coating rather than Kashima.
Grip 2 damper, honestly if you're reading this ad then you know what you're looking at. This is by far the best damper on the market, I've upgraded to zebs purely for the beefer chassis but I'd love to have a zeb with a grip 2 damper.. so supportive and tunable. When it gets rough, this thing really holds up and deals with anything!
180mm travel, they were 170 initially but I bumped them up a little. although I do still have the 170 airshaft if the buyer would prefer me to drop the travel back.
Now, fox forks are renound for the dreaded front end creak. Google it, honestly I've had 3 sets of fox single crown forks and all of them creaked at the crown. This one was no different when I bought it, although it wasn't too bad because they were pretty much brand new. However.. and it's a big however... i'm in the engineering trade so I made some tools up, pressed the steerer out, refitted it properly and the fork has been flawless since.
I have pictures to prove this, it's basically all a suspension tech centre does when they get a creaky fork. The assembly of the steerer to crown is crap from factory for some ridiculous reason. Anyway this fork shouldn't wont creak ever again!
