The upper is made from a burly rip-stop material, resisting the tears and rips from unruly trailside overgrowth. And to prevent bumps and bruises they also feature tough PU laminated toe caps and sides. Securing your feet for efficient pedaling is the Ergolace ergonomic lace-up closure. This allows easy adjustment and cradles the foot comfortably, letting you enjoy the trail. The Terra also benefit from a low-profile design, ensuring they look good on or off the bike, unlike some of the bulkier shoes out there. The X2 Outsole has been designed to deliver the happy middle ground between on-the-bike pedalling efficiency and off-the-bike flexibility for hike-a-bike sections. When you need to accelerate out of berms and put the power down uphill, you won't be left wanting more. And thanks to the directional lug pattern you can be sure of confident footing on flat pedals. Hop off the bike to push back up the trail or for scrambling over obstacles in your way and the Vibram rubber tread offers excellent traction when conditions are slippery. A compressed EVA midsole also provides stability and cushioning.
