NOS McMahon Racing Cycles (MRC) MTB Titanium Quill Stem: 145mm x 25.4mm - Zero Degree
Gorgeous and rare! This stem is from the 1990's, and was made by Steve McMahon of McMahon Racing Cycles. The stem is fully Ti-3-2.5, with a 6Al-4V ti expander bolt and stainless steel clamp bolt. It features a cantilever cable stop below the horizontal shaft.
Condition
New old stock. It came to me with it's matching MCR handlebar loosely clamped in it, but there are zero insertion marks on the quill showing it has never been installed on a bike. The transfer decal is worn off just a little bit. Aside from that it is very close to mint. The finish is brushed titanium, which is prone to having a less than uniform finish and there are a few of these irregularities. Photos represent the condition well. Worthy of even the best show bikes.
