2021 Surly Cross Check

Looking for Surly KM, Lowside, Krampus, Kona UNIT, Jamis Dragonslayer, etc...... Steel hardtail that can go SS.

This bike has been meticulously maintained and has always lived in the house. Can send more pics if need. Here are the specs.

- Surly Cross Check double-butted 4130 chrome-moly steel frame and fork, 56cm —frame and fork have less than 500 commuting miles
- Campagnolo Chorus alloy crankset with 39T chainring and custom-milled chainring guard/pant cuff protector — crank arms show normal scuffing from use, bottom bracket bearings are smooth
- Campagnolo Record C9 stainless steel chain — chain stretch is within tolerances, i.e., less than .75 on Park Tool CC-3 guage
- Surly wide-flange alloy quick release rear flip-flop hub with fixed gear 14T and single speed freewheel 16T cogs — smooth bearings
- Surly wide-flange alloy quick release front hub — smooth bearings
- Mavic OpenSport alloy rims — decal on rear rim is damaged (see photo) but both rims are true with good braking surfaces
- Schwalbe Marathon Plus 700c X 32 tires — brand new with new tubes
- Planet Bike Fenders (not on bike now) — plastic, both mud flaps missing
- IRD cantilever alloy brakes with in-line cable tension barrel adjusters — brake pads still have many miles in them
- Cane Creek SCR-5 alloy brake levers — levers show scuffs and hoods are well worn and tightened with zip ties
- Nitto engraved alloy drop bars — bar tape is worn and right side tape is off.
- Dimension alloy stem
** On it now – Carver Ti wide bar and new Avid 5 levers with a Giant factory stem. Just set this up – looks cool and rides really comfy
