2014 Foes FXR Complete Custom Build **PRICE DROP**

Hello Folks,
My name is Dave and I'm selling my 2014 Foes FXR.
About Me: Longtime Foes employee and professional mechanic. Former Curnutt shock tech. Currently a Senior Tech and full-time Mechanic for a local bike shop in Pasadena.

Frame: 2014 Foes FXR large frame raw finish (but could be polished to mirror finish) The frame size is large but fits medium to extra large riders depending on how you choose to set it up. Yes this frame is 2014, but it was not built up until years later. It has a custom, one-off paint finish from the Foes Factory in Pasadena, California. The bike has very few miles on it, with other bikes in my arsenal receiving most of the use. It has been ridden mostly on fire roads with some flowy singletrack occasionally.

26" wheels make the bike very playful and easy to flick around. also a master for tight switchbacks and anything you want to throw at it .

7" of travel front and rear makes the bike really feel balanced for all types of riding! Perfectly at home at the bike park too!

THIS BIKE JUST RECEIVED A COMPLETE OVERHAUL INCLUDING ALL LINKAGES, FRONT AND REAR SUSPENSION, AND BOTH HUBS.

The bike is functioning flawlessly and does not require anything but pedals to be ready for any and every trail!!!

COMPONENTS:

SHOCK: The bike will be offered with a choice of Fox DHX RC4 coil over(600lb spring) or Fox DHX 5.0 air shock
both options are top-of-the-line shocks with tons of adjustability, kashima coating, and piggyback style reservoirs.

FORK: Fox 36 RC2 factory 180mm travel with fit damper/air spring (also kashima coated). It is equipped with tulio flip down releases on a 20mm axle for toolless wheel removal. Stanchions are in perfect shape.

SEATPOST: Choice of black Bontrager 150mm dropper or black Thomson 440mm rigid seatpost.

WHEELSET: Newly handbuilt wheels with WTB i40 KOM Light rims laced 3 cross with DT Swiss 2.0 silver spokes on black Hadley Racing Hubs (the best; handbuilt in Upland California)
20mm front
12mm by 142mm rear with titanium freehub and 108 quick engagement PAWL system.

TIRES: Fresh Maxxis Minion DHF 2.8 and DHR II 2.8 tires. Tubeless compatible but currently setup with tubes.

DRIVETRAIN: Newly revamped with a Shimano XT 11 speed drivetrain: XT bottom bracket grey threaded outboard---XT 11 speed shifter (black)---XT 11 spd shadow plus rear derailleur with clutch (black). Non-XT components are a KMC ebike 11spd chain and 11-46 tooth sunrace cassette (much better stack than xt cassette with smoother and more consistent gaps between all the gears; no big jumps at the larger cogs. yet it still offers beadblasted xt quality to keep it lasting longer). Cranks are 175mm XT with RaceFace narrow-wide 32 tooth chainring.

BRAKES: Hayes Nine that were brand new in-box until installed on the bike recently. They have been set up with rare and high-quality Foes Brake levers. These have been professionally set up and tuned with 203mm red spidered rotors, offering a very sturdy feel and staying exceptionally straight within the calipers. They are from my favorite era of Hayes Brakes which is why I run them on all my bikes. All of my bikes have either Hayes Nines or the new Hayes Dominions, both of which are excellent brakes all around.
Fork is straight to 203mm rotor size post mount
Swingarm is direct to 160mm rotor size utilizing i.s. to post 203mm adapter

ALL CABLE HOUSINGS AND BRAKE HOSES ARE JAGWIRE PRO STYLE IN RED.

COCKPIT SETUP: Red Spank Spoon 31.8 handlebar 785mm length
ODI sdg clamp on grips (black)
Bontrager 45mm stem (black)(0* of rise)
or
Thomson X4 90mm stem (black)(0* of rise)

OTHER PARTS:
WTB Speed saddle with progel and rubber bottom (black)
Cane Creek 40 headset (black)
Red Wolf Tooth spacers and top cap (red)
Red decals for fork and coil over shock( I have a red decal sheet for the air shock if you so please)

Please know that this bike has been loved, cleaned, constantly serviced. It has been extremely well taken care of its entire existence and needs to go to a good home with someone who will appreciate and take care of her.
