2019 Trek remedy 8 frame 19.5 (large)

Up for sale is my 2019 trek remedy 8 frame 19.5 (large) with super deluxe select + shock. I brought this bike from new in 2019 and it’s been fantastic. From big days in the saddle to dirt jumps & bike parks this thing has done it all. Only selling as I’ve been after a raw aluminium frame and fancied a change.


Good bits:

2021 rockshox super deluxe select + shock (come with 3 tokens installed) also included is the original trek re:activ rockshox deluxe shock. (fully functional / good as a spare)


Bearings were replaced not too long ago and seem to be in pretty good condition overall. Installed is a 92mm sram dub press fit bottom bracket for sram gx, xo1 cranksets. the headset bearings are as good as new.


The frame has matte invisiframe protection


I’ve left all the relevant cables within the frame to make life easier, the brake line is for sram code brakes. I will include 2 new gear inner cables should you wish to use the existing outer cables.


Also included is a spare derailleur hanger, all knock block hardware and 50mm stem, along with a trek knock block locking spacer which allows you to run a different stem if you wish.


Bad bits:

As you will expect with a 3 year old frame there is some cable rub marks scratches and the odd paint chip. The invisiframe has done a great job of minimising this, but obviously it’s not box fresh. Some small parts or the invisiframe I’ve removed as they have been torn in scrapes.


There is a very slight dent on the top tube near the headset, I’m really not sure where this came from. think it’s more likely the bike being transported in in my brother van rather than a crash. It’s very minor but worth mentioning (see photo)


I’ve had to replace one of the frames rivnut’s (the nut in the frame that you screw your bottle cage into). I was running a fidlock magnetic bottle cage which was great but seemed to put more force through this nut, making it come loose. It should last ages now it’s been replaced.
