Trek Rail 7 2020

This bike was a standard Rail 7 but has been heavily upgraded, pretty much all parts have been changed with full details as follows:

Rail 7 Aluminium frame
Fox 38 Factory forks - Grip 2 - Kashima - 160mm travel
Fox Factory X2 shock - 230 x 62.5 (provides around 160mm travel rather than stock 150mm)
DT swiss 350 hubs with DT swiss Ex471 rims set up tubeless
Hope Tech 3 V4 brakes with braided hoses (shimano floating rotors, 203mm each end)
Shimano SLX 12 spd cassette, shifter and derailleur
One up V2 dropper 210mm (from memory Shimmed to 190mm drop)
Specialised bridge saddle
Praxis cranks
Gamut chain guide
DMR 50mm stem
Renthal fatbar 780mm bars
ODI grips
Burgtec penthouse pedals

The motor was replaces under warranty at beginning of this year and it has covered 779km since. I also replaced the controller and all of the internal wiring looms at the same time to basically ‘renew’ all the electric parts of the bike.

The rear triangle and rocker link were resprayed (powder coated) this year as well. The rocker is originally yellow to match the front triangle but i wanted to tone this down a bit so had it done green/turquoise. Nb The green/turquoise is not quite an exact RAL match but as near as damnit and you’d have to look closely to notice.

The front triangle has a dyedbro protection kit and the rear has some clear vinyl applied to the seat and chain stays.

There are options for the sale….I’d like £5,000 for the spec above, with the full fox factory suspension. But would be willing to replace the forks and shock for the original rockshox stock Yari forks and deluxe select shock for £3,800. For the full £5k asking I will provide the rockshox stuff as well as it is handy if suspension is away getting serviced, etc.

Would much prefer to sell this collection only, as i think its important to look over and make sure you are happy.
