I’m the second owner of this frame and have had it for just over 2 years. It’s one of 4 x bikes I own and it gets ridden by far the least of all of them. I can’t be fully certain but I estimate that it’s had less than 500km put on it by me over the last 2 years. I’m selling it as I’ve just bought the newer V3 Hightower frame from my local Santa Cruz dealer ‘Country Cycles’

I bought the included CCDB shock at the same time as buying the frame. It was bought directly from J Tech who tuned it specifically for my weight and riding style. The tuning settings have not been changed from the documented settings included. All shock documentation, spare air seals, tokens, adjustment Allen key and the original box are included. At the time of purchase, this shock had a RRP of £599.99. The small bump sensitivity and suppleness of the shock is frankly amazing.

The vast majority of my use of this frame has been on slow, twisty woodland rooted trails and tracks around the north of Glasgow & Mugdock area. I’ve used it once at Glentress. It’s not been used extensively in wet or muddy conditions as I have 3 other hard tails / fully rigid bikes which I usually use for our wetter wintery months.

That being said, all the pivot bearings were replaced in August of this year and have less than 5 hours of use. These OEM bearings were purchased directly from my local Santa Cruz dealer ‘Country Cycles’.

The frame is in good but well used condition, it has now been a garage queen. There are several scuffs & rubbing marks, paint & lacquer chips in all the usual places. The carbon BB guard and all the OEM rubber protection pieces are still in place and have prevented any significant stone strikes / chain slap. To my knowledge it has not been raced or jumped. The previous owner unfortunately did not use any frame protection so as above it is scratched inc where the water bottle rubbed just above the BB / bottom of the triangle. I applied Helicopter tape to this area and other obvious to prevent any further marking. I’d tried to capture as many of these in the various photos.
