2015 Salsa Bucksaw 1 Medium - fits 5' 8" to 6' tall. For reference, I'm 5' 10".

This bike was purchased on 10/4/2015 from Golden Bike Shop for $4,246.25. It was a demo bike prior to my purchase. Since then it has been ridden sparingly as I mostly ride gravel/road and trials. The sale price is based on the bicycle blue book value and is the lowest priced Bucksaw with this build I could find, so hopefully a good deal for you!

I live very close to a trailhead and you're welcome to demo it on the trail.

Who this bike might be for:

- You want a year round trail bike that you can ride in winter
- You want a comfortable, confidence inspiring bike with great grip -- maybe you're newer to mountain biking or prefer grip and confidence over outright downhill speed
- You want a comfortable bike packing bike
- You want a unique fat bike with great reviews

Most relevant specs:

- Medium full suspension in transparent blue colored frame, aluminum with carbon seat stays. This frame has beautiful welds.
- Tubeless 26x3.8/4 wheels/tires (can also run 27.5x3 and 29x2.3 for a summer setup)
- 100mm Rockshox Bluto RL fork, Solo air spring with Charger 2 damper upgrade (serviced 6/7/2020 at Pedal Pushers Cyclery with very few hours ridden after)
- 100mm Rockshox Monarch RT3 rear shock (serviced 6/7/2020 at Pedal Pushers Cyclery with very few hours ridden after)
- New Magura MT5 Trail (4 piston front, 2 piston rear) brakes with 180mm Magura Storm rotors
- New Spank Spoon 780mm width 40mm rise aluminum bar (stock Salsa Rustler carbon bar also comes with this bike) with newer Race Face grips
- 9.8 fall line set-back dropper post, 150mm, Wolf Tooth dropper lever
- Fabric saddle (Terry women's-specific saddle available)
- Full 11-speed SRAM X01 drivetrain
- Absolute Black oval 30T chainring (comes with original round 30T chainring)
- Race Face Chester flat pedals. I have clipless pedals if you'd prefer - SPD and Time.

Things to note:

- If you're on the shorter end of the height range for this bike, you might (1) want a shorter stem -- I have a couple and am happy to install it for you, and (2) want a shorter dropper post (125mm), which you'd have to purchase.

- The dropper post seems to have a very slow leak. I plan on troubleshooting this, but should be fixable as 9.8 posts are serviceable. Right now this means that you have to pump it up every week or two, but it still works fine. These are low pressure posts, so it only needs 20-25 psi.

- The front tire (Surly Nate) will need to be replaced soon

- The cap that covers the air valve for the fork is missing (I dropped it somewhere and lost it). It can be easily replaced, but it's not needed. It just keeps dust and dirt off the schrader valve.
$1,400 USD
