Ride Roslyn Service Technician Wanted

Small mountain town shop looking for bicycle tech that loves bikes as much as we do. Our shop is open year round catering to all types of cyclists. Snoqualmie Bike park is just 35 minutes away, most trails start a couple blocks from the shop and some of us volunteer grooming hours on local fat bike trails in Roslyn during the winter. We are a small shop with, at times, a high volume of work but we strive to always be friendly and helpful.

Requirements:
Shop Experience or School training of bike mechanics
Friendly and positive customer service
Able to follow procedures specified by companies
Keep clean and organized work space
Attentive to details
Willingness to learn
Ability to identify parts and their compatibility

Job Description:
Perform repairs in the order in which they are received
Provide excellent customer service and making sure customer is well informed
Diagnose and give recommendations via estimates to customers
Using appropriate tools to complete repairs and follow torque specifications
Maintain rental fleet
Process warranty claims
Perform variety repairs. Derailleur adjustments, Brake bleed and adjustments, wheel true and tension, E-Bike repairs, Suspension service, Pivot bearing service, Basic Bike fitment being some examples.
Ability to use parts supplier’s website to locate and order correct parts

Physical Requirements:
The technician is required to meet the standard physical requirements of the service department at Ride Roslyn with a few additions:
Operate repair equipment
Standing for extended periods up to an entire work shift
Bend, lift, open, and move products and fixtures up to 75 pounds
Ability to regularly work more than 40 hours per week, including many weekends
Be available to travel if necessary (commute)
