2023 Mountain Bike and Suspension Technician

Oak Bay Bikes is looking for an experienced mountain bike and suspension technician to join our team. This position is full time and permanent, and we can provide relocation assistance to the right person.

Oak Bay Bikes is home to Victoria’s largest bike service department and is the only shop on the island to offer full suspension servicing for brands like Fox, RockShox, Öhlins, SR Suntour, EXT Racing Shox, DVO, and more.

Job duties include:
Diagnosing and repairing mountain bikes, forks, and shocks
Creating detailed work orders, following instructions
Contacting customers about your work
Completing repairs within the allotted time

Our ideal candidate has:
2+ years of MTB and suspension servicing experience (we will not train on the job)
Experience with any of the suspension brands listed above
Effective time management skills
Extensive knowledge of mountain bike components and brands
High standards for the quality of their work
The ability to provide excellent customer service over the phone or in person

OBB can offer:
$27-$30 per hour based on experience
