The post is in decent shape: goes up and down quickly. One thing to note is that it does have a slight ‘bob’ in the fully extended position when you’re sitting on it. I found I didn’t really notice it much while riding, but that does mean you may want to give the thing a rebuild if you want to get rid of that ‘bob’.
