Bertrand Steel Road Bike

For the right person this is an awesome bike.
Hand built by Gilles Bertrand in Hull, Quebec
Gilles Bertrand was a respected Ottawa/Hull (Gatineau) frame builder. A bit like Marinoni, but more local!
58 cm seat tube, 56 cm top tube, measured centre to centre
Brakes, levers, shifter levers, front derailleur and rear hub are Campagnolo. Hub is Record so I am assuming the rest are as well.
The front hub is a Gipiemme laced to a Nisi rim.
Continental Giro 22 c tubulars hold air.
Cinelli handlebar and stem
Rear derailleur is Suntour Cyclone
Rear rim is Ambrosio Montréal
Crank is Sugino
Time Atac pedals
Seat is Giant (I might have another choice)
Bike has surface rust. This appears to be quite common with Bertrands “of a certain age”. It is definitely worth investing a paint job or ride as is.
