Fork De-Creak Service

Is the front end of your bike creaking and you can't seem to figure out why?
It's quite likely to be your fork's CSU causing all the issues (that is after you've ruled out the typical potential headset issues)
This happens due to some minor wear and/or corrosion commonly called fretting - between the steerer/crown interface, and both stanchion/crown interfaces.

We simply use a hydraulic press with fork specific adapters to press these pieces apart - clean them up well - and reassemble them with the proper retaining compound. The final result will be a strong and creak free interface that will likely stay silent for the lifetime of your fork now!

This service is $50 if you give us just the CSU - or an additional $50 add on to any of our normal fork services if you want to hand us the whole fork.
