Vitus Nucleus great for yours kids first mountain bike as a cheap option if they don't end up liking it the brakes work great, 8 speed drivetrain with a 9 speed shifter It could definitely use a tune up, relatively light and can handle some pretty big jumps however it is still a xc bike.
