2022 Pink Kona Unit now X Custom Build

I know I am going to regret this but this bike overlaps too many other bikes in my stable. So my loss is your gain. Maybe 200km on the build.

This is the really hard to find 2022 Pink Kona Unit - now X

Only the saddle and upper headset is stock.

Fork - Rockshox Pike Ultimate + stock steel fork.
Wheels - Hunt Trail wide 27.5
Tires - Schwalbe Rocket Ron/NobyNic Tubeless
Crank - RaceFace Next R carbon - 28T
Pedals - Mallet DH pink with Ti spindles.
Der/Shifters - Shimano Deore XT 11 spd - 11/46 casette
Chain - XTR waxed
Brakes Formula Cura Silver 4pot front/2pot rear
Dropper - Fox Factory Transfer - pink WT dropper lever
Stem - Chromag with purple Ti bolts
Bars - Nukeproof carbon.

Why 27.5? I’ve ridden this bike with the 29x2.6 and 27.5. The 29 build was pretty ponderous, the 27.5 makes the bike playful.

Anything that looks like an imperfection is my not perfect job with clear frame tape. I can’t see a single scratch.

I really like this but would like to spend less -OK- Without the Pike I’d do 2300 and swapping to SLX brakes would drop it to $2000 (or $2600 with the Pike)
