Hi all,

I'm selling my Ridley X-Trail "gravel" bike. I put gravel in quotes because this bike was light years ahead of its time as a gravel bike when purchased in 2016; however, its geometry and tire clearance put it squarely into the "endurance road" or "all road" category in 2023. I will confirm the size when I'm able to; however, I am 6'3" and this is the right fit for me. I think it's XL but there's a chance it's a L.

The bike performs flawlessly: I upgraded because my "gravel" outings have been getting longer and rougher and I am now the proud owner of a Lauf Seigla with 55c tires. Other than tire clearance, I had zero reasons to upgrade. If I was spending more time on the road, I'd still be riding this bike very happily.

Over the time of my ownership I upgraded the cockpit (seatpost, saddle, stem, bars) and tires (Panaracer GravelKing SK 38c rear and 42c front) which are miraculously mounted tubeless (rims ...eventually cooperated). The build is hard to find on the internet, I believe it was a special build for MEC with a 105 gruppo including hydraulic disk brakes. Notable for the time are the thru-axles front and rear.

If you want an endurance/allroad bike but don't want to buy new, please consider this steal of a deal. Needs nothing - just mount pedals of your choice, dial in your fit, and go. If you're looking for a gravel bike, this may also fit the bill; however, please be forewarned that 700x38c is likely the maximum you can fit in the rear, so your riding habits/trails of choice will need to be examined. The fork has nearly unlimited clearance but the stays are a bit tight in the back.

Please don't hesitate to reach out with any questions/comments/offers. I'm happy to deliver the bike to Whistler or central locations (East Van, Downtown) in Vancouver. I'd love to see this bike getting ridden instead of collecting dust in my (overwhelming, chaos-nexus) garage.

Cheers,
Cam
