Gunnar RockHound 17.5 Manitou V-brake Fork w King HS

I purchased this 2000 Gunnar 17.5” frame to work Part Time as Bicycle Security at a local Casino. I didn’t want to ride one of the Casino aluminum bikes. I asked the supervisor if it would be ok to ride my own bike. He said it had to be black no wild colors. I had the frame powder coated in a flat black because it was the color the powder coater was shooting next. I built and road it to work my next shift. A few shifts later they had me come inside to work as security. I had to stand inside with all the cigarette smoke. I apologize to the supervisor and told him I couldn’t handle the cigarette smoke. He said it was part of the job. So my next night they had me come inside again, I apologize and quit.

The frame doesn’t have a mark or scratch on it anywhere❗️ The specs for the frame are in the picture with 135 QR & V-brake post as the ONLY changes. Yes it has a 23.6” long Top Tube, Long for its day. The Manitou 100mm V-brake fork was a NEW Spare fork. So the Manitou fork has very minimal street hours on it. I’m asking $500 for the Frame, Fork and a King Head Set. (❗️EDIT❗️) The Red King HS & BB was included in another frame sale SORRY! )
(❗️EDIT #2❗️) I decided to build the bike back up because it’s absolutely great for running the dogs around the neighborhood and park plus it’s just so comfortable to ride. I may change the gearing around a bit see pictures of the bike as it sets now. The Chris King HS in the frame now is a Pre Label King Head Set purchased from Chris King directly at a race in Big Bear Cali. YEARS ago. I used a 100 or 90mm Titanium Stem & a Ti. Seat Post, Carbon Race Face bars, a sweet lightweight set of CNC brakes and levers, XTR rear 11 spd derailleur w/ XT shifter, it also has a lot of Titanium and aluminum bolts, old school polished XTR M952 cranks w/ a NEW serviceable Dura-ace BB (just 3.5mm narrower), new KMC chain, new SRAM 10-42 cassette w/ 36t front Chain Ring I will throw in a 34 T ring if wanted. I can also change the tires to new TR fast rolling Maxxis MTB rubber. I can set them up for tubeless but you must add sealer.
The wheel set is built w/ DT Swiss w/ 240s hubs, Revo Spokes and alloy nips using a 3x 2x 1x cross pattern. I can change out the free hub / driver to Shimano if you want, I also have a few different 11 speed cassettes! Shimano 11-34, 11-36, e-13 9-34 and others (I will have to check) I race for over a decade on this same way of building wheels. As a matter of fact I used to build wheels for friends. The photo w/ all the rims hanging in our messy garage are all Mavic 517 & 717 V-brake rims. ( V-Brake 26er Rims are for sale too! )

I’ve been selling & buying for over 25 years I’m 64 and too old to try to screw someone then try to run and hide. Just go and see all my sold stuff and I’ve NEVER had a problem or issue from ANY buyers. Yes I fully understand there are some real LOW LIFES out there but I’m not one of them…
