The Luftkappe effectively enhances sensitivity and enables higher air pressure for increased support in the middle and end of the stroke. It does so by increasing the volume of the negative chamber whilst in turn decreasing the size of the positive chamber.
If you are looking for a coil-like feel without the linear, harsh bottom out effects of some coil springs, this is may be the fix for you.
