This is the latest generation of Trek's most popular full suspension Fuel EX.
The 9.7 is a carbon frame in the super versatile satin mercury colorway. It was chosen as Pinkbike's bike of the year. If you're looking for one bike that can handle everything you can throw at it, yet is not out of place on casual trails, this is it.

for size - it's an XL - I am 6' tall and I have always rode size LG frames. this is the bike that told me i was riding the wrong size for all of those years. I even put an 80mm stem on it and it felt right to me. (bike comes with stock stem)
Bike is essentially stock except for the grips and saddle - which I couldn't find when putting it back to stock. SLX/XT drivetrain has 20 miles on it. SLX brakes were just cleaned and re-bed. Resin pads are grabby and have at least 90% life left.
XR5 Team Issue 29x2.5 tires never seen sealant. Wheels and tires have never been ridden: Bontrager Line Comp 30, 30mm internal width. six-pawl rapid drive hub has 108 points of engagement for quick engagement and a nice freehub sound without being distractingly loud.
Fox Rhythm 36 up front with 150mm of buttery travel. Fox Performance Float X handling the 140mm out back. 170mm travel dropper. all stanchions are flawless
Flip chips for geometry adjustment and rear suspension feel (linear/progressive)
Only imperfections are minor: one from a pedal/crank strike at the bottom of one crank arm, a small heel scuff on right side and a small scuff to the paint below the logo on the left side (came out of the box with that one) No crashes, impacts, or damage.
New rear shift cable and housing. Bike is as clean and as good a deal as you will find.
No trades, Cash or Venmo preferred - PayPal is fine but will have a 3% upcharge to cover fees. Willing to box and ship in Continental US - packing and shipping included in asking price
