2009 Pioneer CDJ 2000 Professional DJ Deck

The CDJ-2000 offers a variety of innovative functions and can play music from a wide variety of sources such as CD, DVD, USB storage media and SD cards. It also comes with rekordbox, the revolutionary music database management software for DJs. rekordbox (for Mac and PC) is based on Pioneer's prepare and perform concept and works like the leading music database management software, but is much more DJ-friendly and gives much more freedom to creativity. With this software, DJs can prepare their performances better and use tools like Hot Cue Banks and Quantize to always shine with perfectly synchronized loops. DJs can export the data to a USB or SD storage medium after preparation, in order to have access to a huge library of music files for live performances without having to rely on additional hardware or complex setup changes in the club. No CDs need to be burned. Instead, the USB device is simply brought into the club and connected to the CDJ. With Pro DJ Link, up to four players connected via LAN cable can simultaneously access music files and database data stored on a single USB or SD storage medium. In addition, the data history of each DJ set is automatically saved and can be converted into a playlist, which can then be loaded back into rekordbox. Other key benefits of the CDJ-2000 include its advanced HID and MIDI capabilities for native control of digital vinyl systems over USB. In addition, the system offers excellent sound quality thanks to an improved audio output circuit, a new, audiophile Wolfson DAC processor and an integrated 24-bit/48 kHz sound card. The layout of the CDJ-2000 is of course similar to that of its robust and reliable predecessor, the CDJ-1000MK3. So the CDJ-2000 fits in the footprint of the MK3, but it's even easier to use thanks to the industry's largest (15.5 cm) and clearest color display. Below the display is a needle search/needle drop band, so direct file browsing is now possible via intuitive hardware. With other highlights such as a sophisticated illuminated jog wheel, an optimized overall design, carrying handles and a Kensington lock, the system is the ideal digital innovation for optimal performance and seamless synchronization.
