2007 Trek 1500 SLR 54cm

For sale is a 2007 Trek 1500. Original paint was the Discovery Channel scheme. It’s a size 54cm. I can send the pictures before the bike was repainted. It was sanded down and has been repainted with spray.bike. This was a COVID project for my wife and it’s a tad big for her and she doesn’t ride as much as she used to. The bike has been primarily used on a trainer with MAYBE 100 miles outside.

It’s got SRAM Apex 1x w/ 42T crank and 11 speed 11-40T cassette. When I rebuilt the bike, new headset bearings and new GXP bottom bracket were installed. As you can see in the pictures, the Vision rims don’t even have the paint removed from the brake track. The Pirelli P-Zero tires have ~100 miles on them. Since listing, I have put a new chain on the bike. This would make a great bike for any beginner road cyclist or greenway rider.

Priced to sell - $700 OBO. The wheels and groupset alone cost more than this whole bike.

As for the pedals and saddle, you can either take the pedals and saddle on the bike or you can take one of the other saddles pictured. I have a pair of double sized SPD pedals you can have as well, one needs rebuilt though.
