Industry Nine Torch Grade/Enduro 300 29" Boost

Here I have an awesome pair of Industry Nine wheels. built with Torch (Boost width) hubs fitted with an XD drive freehub, and utilising their unique aluminium spokes.

The front and rear rims currently do not match as I had the rear swapped over to an Enduro model, due to a defect in the old rim. Included however, is a spare, brand new matching Enduro rim, that the buyer could get built/swapped onto the front, so the pair match, if they so desire. I was going to, but thought I'd do it once I'd wrecked the existing rim, but I can't seem to do so, it's remained stubbornly straight and defiant to denting.

John @ ShoreLines , who is the main Industry Nine UK importer/distributer, supplied both new rims. I sent him the rear wheel and he stripped it down, rebuilt it with the new rim, tensioned and trued it, all for a mere £40. He also gave the rear hub a service and lubed all the pawls with the correct Dumonde Tech Freehub Grease, while he had the wheel, all FoC. - what a top guy !

The front has brand new normal 15mm end caps, (I was using Torque Caps) so the wheels can now be fitted to any manufacturer of forks. The front rim, being older, shows signs of bike carrier strap rubbing on the anodising (see second to last photo), this is obviously purely cosmetic.


Building a set of the newer version of these wheels (on Industry Nine's website), built to this customisation (level 3) comes out at an astounding €1625.00 (not Including VAT)
