Odd Want

Hey folks, I'm on a mad mission to develop a kit to correct the too common condition where as the steerer tube has been cut too short. I'm a mechanical engineer and have access to simulation software, FEA, and an advanced machine shop. However I need a section of a steerer tube that has been cut off.

I can machine one but want to try another possible design to effectively reconnect the two without welding or any machine work. The prototype is promising, not perfect but is stronger than original and limited weight gain.

If you have a section 2 inches or so, id gladly buy it!
