Selling my 2020 transition sentinel, carbon, size large.
I can confidently say this is my favorite bike ever but I've moved on to bigger bikes within the transition family.
Although very well ridden, this bike has been very well maintained throughout it's life and is ready for it's next owner to get it shredding again. Ive ridden this everywhere from Whistler to Ashland and IMO, it's the perfect pnw bike.
Happy to provide more info but starting with the details:
2020 L Transition Sentinel in Loam Gold
Fox 38, 170mm travel (10mm more than stock)
2024 Fox X2
Hunt Trail Wide wheels with
-Specialized Hillbilly 29x2.4 (front)
-Maxxis Minion DHR2 29x2.4(rear)
SRAM Code Silvers (Not pictured! Newly added while I continue to ride the bike)
SRAM HS2 rotors. Huge improvement over the stock SRAM rotors if you like long descents or steeps.
GX level drivetrain. Everything functions fine but the large cog of the cassette is starting to show its age.
XX1 Chain (not pictured)
Deity Skywire Carbon bars. 25mm rise, cut to 780
WTB Volt Saddle (not pictured)
210 Oneup V2 dropper
ANVL stem

Like stated, the bike is well ridden. Transitions are known for poor paint quality and this one is no different. Paint is fading and there are plenty of chips but no damage. The frame has been ground keeper frame protection wrapped from day 1 which has kept it in largely great condition. The rear triangle was replaced 2 years ago under warranty as a piece of broke off early into ownership. No issues ever since.

Suspension was serviced by The Lost Co in Bellingham in the fall. Probably due for another service soon.
The bike came with a lyrik but I've been riding the 38 since last summer. It's a huge upgrade in terms of grip through chunder but at 170, it has taken away some of the playfulness of the bike. This is more than made up for in increased confidence in steeps.
The X2 was replaced by Fox last summer. The 2024s do not have the issues earlier models had. I've had 4 2024 X2s on different bikes and they've all worked flawlessly.

Willing to negotiate slightly. If asking price is met, I'm happy to throw in some new grips and brake pads. No pedals included.
Located in Bellingham (Sudden Valley specifically) and not looking to ship. Will consider meeting between Bellingham and Seattle for serious buyers.
$2,900 USD
Restrictions: Reasonable offers only, No Trades, Local pickup only
