2021 Norco Optic C2 Shimano Upgraded + Cascade Link

2021 Norco Optic C2 Shimano build with the epic Fox 36 Grip 2 fork with the well reviewed Rockshox Super Deluxe Ultimate DH rear.

Bike is bumped up from 125/140 to 130/150mm travel using the cascade link. This has made the Pinkbike “2020 Mountain Bike of the Year” even more capable.

It is perfect for BC and beyond. Rips the downs and climbs amazing. Super poppy and playful but also really capable.

- Medium Carbon frame - 3M paint protection film on most of the frame. Only nicks are to the film or only surface nicks from usual riding).
- Fox Performance Elite GRIP2 36 - increased travel to 150mm from 140mm (will include the previous 140mm air shaft).
- ***UPGRADE*** Switched to the Rockshox Super Deluxe Ultimate DH as I preferred it (will also include the Fox Float DPX2 Performance Elite Shock 125mm travel)
- ***UPGRADE***Cascade link that bumped up the rear travel from 125mm to 130mm and increased small bump compliance while increasing the big hit ability. (Will include the original link as well)

Wheels:
- Hub: XT Shimano
- Rims: Stan's Flow S1 29"
- Tires: (Tubeless) Vittoria Martello 2.35" Trail G2.0 (front and I can include a Maxxis DHF as well) - Specialized Butcher T9 in the rear. It’s amazing

Drivetrain:
- Rear Derailleur: newer Shimano XT as I replaced it recently
- Crank: ***UPGRADE*** moved over to a Shimano SLX Crankset 170mm (almost identical to XT) as I preferred the Shimano Bottom Bracket as it lasts longer. Also, the Shimano chainring and chain line is way better and can pedal backwards/ratchet back during technical climbs without the gears all getting messed up.
(Can also include Girder Carbon M30, 32T, 170mm)
- Cassette: *** UPGRADE*** Shimano XTR 12 speed Cassette
Chain: fairly new XT chain. I replace my chains every couple months to ensure the wear on the drivetrain is as minimal as possible

Components:
- Seat Post: ***UPGRADE*** Fox Transfer Kashima dropper 150mm with Shimano Lever that works amazing.
- Brakeset: Shimano XT hydraulic disc
- Handlebar: ***UPGRADE*** Oneup Carbon Bar cut to 780mm
