THE BACKGROUND:
================
We are doing a bit of N-1. This is my wife's previous ride. She's
5'10" x ~140lbs. Worked well for her in NorthVanc, BC and locally here
in Ottawa/Gatineau. She liked this bike a helluvalot. It's taken me ages
to talk her into a new bike.

As it's a medium, and from the RM tables, I think it would be a good fit
for a rider between about 5'5" and 5'10" with the taller end being
likely better for female folks - it's NOT a long reach frame, it's pretty compact.

She's got a more XC than DH orientation, but was comfortable using the
bike in North Vancouver and now on the CampFortune XC side trails
and pretty much everything in Gatineau Park.

The suspension travel is 130mm fr/rr, but the 29er wheels do let it
roll over just about everything.

The double front rings give a gear ratio range from wickedly low to
ultra high. And the parts are way, way cheaper than for 1x setups.

Frame can be adjusted from short/steep to long/slack using the RM
Ride9 chip. It's in long/slack right now.

It's already set up tubeless w/ Stan's fluid and has been for 3 years with
no problems.

Wheels are true. Suspension serviced every year like clockwork,
on the policy that it is just plain stupid not to take very good
care of the bike your wife rides. Rotors have lots of life in them.
Brake pads are pretty new.
