I'm selling my HPI Savage 25. I bought it a few years ago new from Tower Hobbies along with a Hobbico AC/DC 900 battery charger, a DuraTrax Shark 1500 mAh 6-cell battery, and a few tools to go with it. The truck is in pretty damn good condition, but is dirty and has a few scratches and dings on the body. The body has a few stickers on it too. Three of them are GT Bike stickers (just the letters GT) and one is a NYC Freeride sticker. The truck has a Golden Horisons 49 tooth (same as stock) purple anodized aluminum spur gear that replaced the stock plastic one. It's much stronger and won't strip out like the stock one did. It also has the HPI performance air filter. I also upgraded the steering servo to a high torque Futuba servo. The stock one died so I replaced it with one that's a lot better. It's a big truck so I gave it a servo with a lot of power.

I'm selling it with two packages of slipper clutch pads, each pack has two pads in it. One slipper clutch hub, one stainless steel slipper clutch plate, and a pack of four 4mm flanged lock nuts. I can't remember what the lock nuts go to, but they're there if you need them. It also comes with a Golden Horisons 52 tooth aluminum spur gear that has a brand new clutch pad stuck to it. It's not in the package anymore, but it's never been installed on the truck and it brand new. You'll also get a DuraTrax fuel filter that is not installed on the truck. All you have to do to instal it is cut the fuel line and zip tie it on though. I'll also give you a DuraTrax glow plug wrench that also works to take the wheels on and off of the truck. I'll also give you a bag of random new bolts and screws along with all the extra plastic parts that came with the truck. You'll also get the tall body support tower that you'd use if you put an SUV body on the truck.

The truck has the Roto-Start system so I'm throwing in the Shark 1500 battery and charger that I bought with the truck. I'll also give you two un-opened bottles of 20% nitro fuel. Each bottle is one quart and each quart costs about $10.

The reason I'm selling it is I never use it anymore and at this point in my life I could use the money a lot more than I could the truck. It runs fine, it's fast (tops out around 40 MPH), and it's far more durable than it needs to be. I've seen the truck land on flat ground from about 15 feet in the air with no problems at all. Nothing broke and it drove out of it fine. Each wheel of the truck has 6 inches of suspension travel and you can put a 12 oz soda can under one wheel without any of the other 3 wheels leaving the ground. It has a two speed automatic tranny, but no reverse. If you want reverse, HPI does make a reverse module you can buy, I just never had a need for it so I never bought one. There's a crazy amount of aftermarket parts you can buy for this truck. If you really want to, you can give this truck a 3 speed tranny, a supercharger and nitrous. There's even a kit that lets you give it two engines. If you like cars at all, you should buy it just to be able to say that you own an engine that runs to 30,000 RPM on nitro fuel.

I'd like to get $250 for it because of all the stuff I'm selling with it, but I'll consider most offers. Some trades may be considered, I will ship depending on how I'm paid.

If you want more info or pictures, or even just have a question, don't hesitate to ask. I can take pictures of anything on the truck or anything that comes with it and I'll try to answer any questions you have to the best of my ability.
