For sale I have a pair of Head Monster iM 72 RailFlex Skis. They are blue, and show their use, but have no structural problems and the bottoms and edges have just had resharpening and resurfacing. They are great skis, you will not be disappointed.

The Skis are riddled with marketing hype (LiquidMetal, Intelligence etc.), but what it all boils down to is a very versatile ski that can be used (and has been used) on 2 ft of powder, or carving up the moguls and groomers. At a length of 163 cm, they would be best suited for an intermediate to advanced skier that likes some skiing in the trees or along the side, who is 5'7" to 6'1" although it depends entirely on how you ski, what you ski, and what skis you are used to skiing on. They have been used on all kinds of terrain, and while there is no such thing as a ski that does everything perfectly, for a ski in this price range, it is a top competitor.

The bindings are Tyrolia RF 10, which are mounted in integrated rails on the skis. This is a huge advantage, as the bindings can slide along the rails to accommodate boots of any size, and they can also be mounted 10cm forward, middle, or 10 cm back for carving to powder skiing (more flotation with the weight towards the back). They are full diagonal bindings (meaning the boot can have some freedom of moving side to side without popping out. The DIN settings are easily customizable to your preference.

I am the first and only owner of these skis and bindings, both were bought new at towards the end of 2008. They have been used about a dozen times a year, so in their entire use I can't imagine they have seen more that 30 days on the mountain. The plastic top of the ski is scraped, but there is absolutely no structural problems. The skis are in flawless working order, and the bases and rails have been resharpened to the point of being better than when they were bought new. I've never had any trouble with the bindings and they look only very lightly used.

My only reason for selling is that I have now grown out of them and they are sure to please the next owner. I hope you can see that I got a lot out of this skis, and I am hoping the next owner has the same experience.

The skis retail for $850, and given the condition I feel that $200 is a very reasonable price for the skis. If you would like to negotiate, please contact me, but be reasonable, given what a deal the asking price is.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.
