This is my 2006 Norco Six One. I'm the original owner and have always kept it in tip top shape. As it is right now it's setup more towards DH/freeriding, but throw a set of lighter tires on it and you've got a surprisingly capable cross country bike. The VPS suspension with the propedal shock makes it pedal impressively well up hills, and once you get to the downhill it's a blast.
I've used this bike for both my XC bike and my DH bike for the last 3 years and I've always been able to keep up to my friends on going up and going down.

Highlights & Upgrades:
-Brand new set of Avid Elixir R brakes and rotors installed last summer. 203mm front, 180mm rear. Bled at the end of the season.
-New Enduro pivot bearings and front wheel bearings intalled last fall.
-Crank brothers 50/50 XX sealed bearing pedals.
-Truvativ Shiftguide added.
-SRAM top of the line Flak jacket shift cables installed.
-New SRAM X.9 medium cage rear derailleur installed summer 2008.
-Titec El Norte stem and bar added. Knock-proof rated = no questions asked life-time warranty.
-Comes with 2 seats and posts: the original Titec scoper and SDG I-beam saddle for XC, and a short Axiom seatpost with Tioga seat so you can run the seat fully slammed for DH.
-New Pedros lock-on grips installed last summer.
-Freshly tuned up including cleaning and lubing the shifter internals.
-Fork overhauled and oil changed last summer.

The bad news:
-The right stanchion on the fork got scratched up in a crash at Moose last summer. It happened at the beginning of the season and I smoothed them down and filled the deeper ones right away. They're pretty smooth to the touch and even after a season of riding on it the seals haven't leaked a drop.
-The rear shock could really use a service. It's rideable as it is, but sending it in would make the bike ride a whole lot better. I believe it's about $100 to get that done by Fox.
