Archos 604 with Bullet Helmet Camera

Archos 604 30GB portable media player with DVR travel adapter, bullet camera, external back up battery and soft case.

The Archos 604 is a complete entertainer that stores your favorite music, pictures, and movies. This digital media player has a bright 4.3-inch TFT LCD display and 30 GB memory that can store up to 7500 songs or 85 movies in DVD like resolution. You can zoom in, zoom out and even add transition effects while watching pictures on Archos 604s digital media player. You can also convert the Archos 604s unit into a DVR, and record music or videos from television, DVD player, satellite receiver, etc. and save them in its 30 GB memory.

The bullet cam is made by Archos and is used with the DVR adapter which plugs into the base of the media player. The camera has a record button on the wire so filming can be started and stopped without removing the player from its case. The camera is a standard size and mounts are available quite cheaply for it, i picked up a helmet mount for £5.

The back up battery can be used while filming to give a much increased battery life, it can also be used while watching movies or listing to music on the media player.

The Archos and DVR adapter can be used to record from the TV, this requires a separate wire but I believe it is a standard camera wire. I will check and update the advert.

The soft case holds the back up battery and Archos media player while filming, the pouch for the player has a clear window so you can still see the screen to position the camera.


I found it easy to set up when I used it, the big screen really helps make sure the camera is pointing in the right direction.
