LARGE ASTRIX HAVOC DH FRAME

This is an Astrix Havoc DH frame. I bought it used a year ago for $500 to build up a whistler bike to get me by until I could afford a new frame. I put new bushings in the shock linkage and replaced one of the piece's of the linkage all together with a new one. Also had one of my freinds in the machine shop at work custom make me a pair of linkage plates that lowered the bb to 14.2", and slackened the head angle to 64 degrees. This is a large frame, I am 6' 4" and it fits me perfectly. it has a 48" wheelbase, so it is a bit of a plow bike, very fast and stable in high speed rough and high speed turns, not as nimble in the tight stuff but still manageable. It is a super solid frame, like the stiffest full suspension frame I have ever ridden..( I have been on demo 8's, yeti's, ect...) It has a fox DHX 4 rear shock with a 600lb spring that is in good working order. It comes with the FSA headset, Thompson seat post, seat clamp and the SDG seat that you see on it in the photo.(and stock linkage plates for the suspension)

Anyway, this is a great starter frame, or get you by frame, the suspension design is similar to a lawill in function and from, though not exactly.

Will not need anymore as I am getting a new frame.
