This Sx Trai 2 is custom built to a very high spec, making it perfect for full on freeride and dh racing, every part has been specifically choose to meet the rigor involved with hardness of todays type of riding. The colour looks amazing and is often described as the nicest sx trail specialized have made.

In a size medium it is not to small or big and I find would be perfect for most riders. It is built to a very high standard with lots of forged parts and hydroformed tubing to create an extremely stiff frame. Both the front and rear suspension work very smoothly and have been kept in the up most condition having fresh oil on the fork seals frequently.

The front forks have all of the necessary adjustments needed to create a ride that you are happy with. The fork has a spring pre load, rebound control and at the bottom a high and low speed compression adjusters. At the rear the Fox DHX 5 on a 550 weight spring has bottom out adjustment, rebound control and a pro pedal dial perfect for AM riding.

The brakes have recently had new Sintered pads bought for them and are working extremely well, very powerful with no brake squeals or rubbing. Both disks are true and have loads of life left in them. Carbon lever blades ensure stiff control and improve feel of brake.

The wheels are both strong and fairly light. Hope Pro 2 hubs give out a nice ticking sound that many have come to love and smooth engagement, the rims are welded at the seem to improve strength and look very nice. Out back the I bought the 10mm female bolt kit for the hub to increase stiffness of rear end, allowing the stiffness of the frame to really show, but also making slow wheel changes a thing of the past.

The gears work flawlessly with very smooth and precise shifting. The rear X0 mech is one of the best rear mechs available and is built to last. Its half carbon half metal cage improves stiffness over standard metal whilst also being lightweight. This gearing combined with the lightweight yet reliable SRS+ chain device the perfect drive chain. The Stylo crankset is very much the same as the new descendent crank available and again is stiff and light.

Sunline V1 bars and a Straitline pedals top off the bike very nicely giving the rider incredible control over the bike. The wide bars give solid control even when the trail gets rough. The pedals speak for themselves, very grippy. The seat post is again light and stiff and is loved by many.

Selling due to Uni commitments and wont have time to ride it anymore, you really wont be disappointed. Condition is very good with only a few marks on the frame from general riding, look at the photos. Brake levers are the worst condition part of the bike.
