Absolutely love this bike and hate to let it go but I have way too many bikes in the stable and I bought a new SX Trail that fits me better than the Demo 8 (I’m only 5’5”!). It's priced competitively because I need it gone.
Some of the highlights: Just had all bearings/pivots replaced by Dizzy in May last year and only rode it twice after that (have a custom built Heckler that I used instead). Fork serviced by Naz at Marzocchi and Fox rear shock serviced by James at SuspensionWerx at the same time as bearings replaced. Fork stantions in pristine condition, not a single scratch. Absolutely no dents in the frame. I set it up with a granny ring so you can climb anywhere on this bike. I’ve never done a drop over 4’ (and not often) and never raced with the bike- the bike is in great shape and I'm picky so I took care of it.

• 06' Demo 8 FSR frame, super low center of gravity and standover, full cartridge bearing pivots, 26" F/R wheel, 8" of travel
• 26 and 24" wheel compatible with two geometry settings
• Installed an XT Front Derailleur when I bought the bike with 22 tooth granny, climbs really well!
• Fox DHX 4.0 coil shock, adjustable rebound, ProPedal, IFP pressure
• Marzocchi 888 VF2 fork, 200mm travel, flat crowns, external rebound adjustment, integrated stem, 20mm thru axle (recently serviced!)
• Brand new Race Atlas DH bar, 27” wide
• Saint brakes front and rear, hydraulic disc brakes with 8" rotors (recently bled, new pads)
• SRAM X-9, rear derailleur
• SRAM X-7, 9-speed shifter
• Truvativ Holzfeller crankset with Blackspire DS-1 guide, and Truvativ Howitzer XR, oversize sealed outboard cartridge bearing bottom bracket
• Mavic EX325 Disc, 26" rims with Specialized disc hubs on the front, 36 hole, 20mm thru axle front

I have lots of options for used parts and I would be willing to swap out based on your preferences: brake sets (Formula, Avid), tires (Kenda, Mavic, saddles/seatposts, wheelsets etc so we can discuss and negotiate options for this bike if you wish. I'm willing to throw in some extras. :)
