The Nukeproof Generator hub, cold-forged from 7075-series aluminium for optimum strength and fatigue resistance, and with extensive CNC machining to shave excess weight without compromising structural integrity. With 32-hold construction and IS 6-bolt disc rotor mounts as standard, their light weight belies their ability to take hard knocks.

Generator Race front wheels run on two sealed cartridge bearings and are available in 15mm/QR and 20mm/Qr thru-axle options, with a supplied conversion kit to alternate between standards.

All Nukeproof Generator Race wheels are laced using DT Swiss spokes. Based on the race-proven MTX 29 rim by Sun Ringlé the Generator Race rim is welded for strength with a width of 29mm to enable secure mounting of large-volume tyres.

RIM INFO

The SpeedDisc Cross Country rim utilizes WTB’s International Bead Seat design as well as eyelets. The 475-gram rim features a wide, 26.5-millimeter profile that can roll with the punches and come out straight and true.

GBS:
WTB’s proprietary Global Bead Seat design utilizes deeper grooves for the bead seats as well as two raised lips that lock the tyre’s beads into place on the rim. GBS–featured on LaserDisc, SpeedDisc and Dual Duty series rims–holds the tyre firmly in place and greatly reduces the chance of “burping” the tyre off the rim in heavy lateral loading.
