(Hope to have this bike at winter park this Saturday 7/9).
I have a Rocky Mountain Switch for sale with a Rock Shox Totem Coil Front fork- 7" of plush travel front and rear. The rear suspension is a PUSH'd (www.pushindustries.com) Fox Vanilla RC. Front and Rear suspension is in excellent shape with no scratches/leaks etc. The totem was new last season and only has around 20 rides on it. The platform on the rear suspension is excellent, there is no bob when pedaling and I have never felt the shock harshly bottom out. This was my only do everything bike and I regularly rode everything from long cross country rides to Keystone and Winter Park bike parks.
Bike comes with both 24" and 26" rear wheels (pictured with the 24"). I ride the 24" almost exclusively as it slackens the head tube and really increases the torque and gears the bike down, making it much easier to climb and get moving. I feel it handles better overall with the 24, a lower top end speed is the only negative. The 24" wheel is a fully custom burly DH build (XT hub, sun single track rim, DH tube)
Many components have been replaced in the last 2 years including Rock Shox Totem Coil last season, Avid Code brakes last season, new seatpost last season, new shifters last season, New external bottom bracket and crankset two seasons ago, rear derailleur two seasons ago. About the only original parts are the 26" wheels, the stem, handlebars and front deraileur.
Bike weighs 40lbs with the (heavier) 24" rear wheel, but like I noted it pedals remarkably well (probably 38ish with the 26" rear wheel). Buyer could easily and economically drop 2-4lbs off this bike with a few minor upgrades if weight is a concern (tubeless, pedals etc.). The bike is built to be ridden hard and stand up to anything. . . it has. . . and is still running awesome.
