2009 NS Surge Frame

NS Surge Frame (2009 I think)

The Surge is NS's do it all freeride hardtail, equally at home on the trail centre or on the dirtjumps. I used it for most types of riding but primarily as a single speed DJ bike, I liked it because I could run slightly longer forks on it (130mm) and not ruin the geo as it's designed for 120mm-160mm. I have trimmed the seat tube down where it protrudes above the main triangle to allow the seat to be slammed down out of the way as can be seen in the photos.

The bad points, it's dented on the driveside seatstay. The paint was cracked round the brake mount but having taken the paint off and checking I do not believe the actual frame to be cracked. The paintwork is ok but there are quite a few scratches and a bit of cable rub on the frame from use. I have used the official touch up paint on most of the scratches and where I took the paint back on the mount so they are not as noticeable.
