This frame is identical to the Devinci Wilson. The only difference therefore between the 8 Flat 8 and the Wilson was the build specification - I understand that the frame itself has exactly the same geometry and design. This is built as a high spec robust DH and FR bike, with the frame fitted with the upgraded Fox DHX5 Coil Shock with standard 350lbs spring, all working great, really super, super plush.

This is a 2005 frame, and the 4 bar linkage horst system uses very high quality needle bearings that resist lateral forces so providing fantastic lateral stiffness and super longevity. Combined with the 1.5 headtube it provides a super strong platform for a freeride or downhill bike build, with the option of either a triple clamp fork or a 1.5 inch steerer single crown (e.g. Rockshox Totem). In addition the frame has 2 travel settings, either 215mm or 180mm. Devinci developed this frame in collaboration with the University of Sherbrooke (Province of Quebec, Canada) to ensure that extra frame material and gusseting is only used where it is needed which results in an optimum X frame for weight vs stiffness.

For the age of this bike it is in great condition apart from the odd paint chip that all bikes have.
