Up for sale is a barely used custom build Trek Session 88 built around a 2010 frame.

Unfortunately I have to sell my bike due to a long running illness and major surgery looming in the near future......

The bike has been built from the frame up over the past 11 months. The spec is as follows:

- Trek Session 88 frame, 2010 model, Fox DHX RC4 shock with standard spring and a 700 weight steel spring, size medium (the one everyone wants) was purchased brand new in December 2010 from All Terrain. RRP £2,250

- Rockshox Boxxer Wrold Cup forks in black, new in July 2011 RRP £1,300

- Wheels are Superstar DH hubs and rims in white - effectively the rims are Alex rims rebadged I believe. RRP £220

- Transmission - 9 speed Shimano XT shifter, SLX medium cage mech and Shimano 9 speed HG cassette

- Brakes are Avid Elixir CR in black with red Taper Bore and detailing. Very powerful, new in April 2011. £200

- Cranks are FSA Gravity cranks and BB - light and stiff, new December 2010 with frame - £125

- Chain device is an E13 SS+ 32-36T and a Raceface DH specific ring.

- Controls are Deity Dirty Thirties in white and black, 760mm uncut, Sunline Direct Mount stem in Ti grey 50mm reach, headset is a Cane Creek Zero Stack number that came with the frame.

- Tyres are Maxxis Minion DHF 2.5's at each end with loads of tread left.

The bike really is in great condition - you can count on two hands how many times it's been used since it was built. There are marks here and there from use and transportation however these do not affect the perforamance in anyway at all. The stanchions are unmarked and I wouldn't even say the forks have been bedded in yet.

There are no dents or cracks, the frame was protected from new from the dreaded downtube dents that Sessions can be vulnerable to.

The bike rides like a dream and I am really sad to see it go however it makes sense to invest the money elsewhere until after I've recovered from my operations and can see how the land lies.

The asking price is £2350 or very near offer.

I don't "need" to sell it so I won't entertain ridiculous offers so please don't waste either of our time.

I am happy to arrange for people to view the bike (I live just off the M62 between junctions 25 and 26 West Yorkshire).

I have lots of high resolution pictures of the bike and the few scratches on there which are mainly over decals on the forks and chainstays etc from transportation on the bike rack to and from Scotland.

NO SWAPS..... Please don't even Ask......
