Brought my bike in for new brake lines and shifter cables. (Bike is fairly high end with full xtr, sram xo, push industries custom tuned suspension)
The work was not completed properly and it was very evident that the bike was not taken out for a test ride prior to returning it to the customer. Rear brake was not bled correctly and rear derailleur not indexing properly, resulting in missed shifts and virtually no brake pressure.
I returned the bike to the shop a few days later and the issue was resolved within 2 days. The brake lines and shifter cables that were replaced were poorly reinstalled and barely held onto the frame with only a couple of zip ties, and I had to rectify once a had the bike back home. On top of everything, I was charged for a 'tune up'. There was ABSOLUTELY NOTHING wrong with this bike prior to going in. I'm not sure how they can justify charging for a 'tune up' IN ADDITION to the requested work.
AVOID.
POOR WORKMANSHIP AND CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Glen and his small crew are nice but they just do not meet the knowledge that shops like Sovereign have. He is just not a bike need like the other guys but is amazingly nice and gives great deals on product!
Last stop on your way to the awesome Powers Creek/Builders Only DH trails on Smith Creek trails as well.
I will recommend this shop to anyone, and and for you Kelownaites...definitely worth the dreaded trip across the bridge to check it out. hahaha
Keep the rubber side down and ride on!
