NBX Bikes of East Providence

In May 2007, NBX Bikes was created when we purchased the family owned Narragansett Bikes, founded in 1989. Then, in May of 2013, Reed Caster, the third generation owner of Caster's Bicycles, sold his family business to us and felt that in doing so, was keeping the business "in the family." In 2015, East Providence Cycle Co owner Rob Foulkes retired after 45 years in business, changing the "name on the door" to NBX Bikes. EP Cycle had grown to become one of the most respected bicycle operations in the United States, and we were honored to carry on the tradition.

Our philosophy is that cycling should be fun for people of all ages and abilities. With more than twenty years experience in the industry, we feel we know how to guide you to that goal. As avid riders ourselves, we understand the thrill, the fun, the joy of cycling and are even more excited to help you find the aspect of cycling that will make riding a bike an integral aspect of your life. Cycling is truly an activity that can be enjoyed for a lifetime.

We aim to create an inviting atmosphere in our shops to provide you with expert customer service, whether you are a beginner, enthusiast, competitive racer, triathlete, or mountain biker. Bicycling can be a huge part of a healthy lifestyle and we want everyone to discover how much fun it can be. Please join us for our group rides and events, or simply stop in to say "hello!"
